One of the things that I'm starting to hate about japanese nerd-culture is that it's becoming
dominated by only a few different franchises at any one time. It's sapping their cultural
potential, making talented artists waste their fucking time rehashing things with characters from
these dominant franchises.

Fucking idiots are rehashing fucking iosys touhou flashes into Rozen Maiden, and vice versa all
the fucking time.
I blame caramel dansen. It's natural for Americans to re-make shit, but they usually are more
creative about it, doing more than just redrawing the characters. If they hadn't latched onto it,
they might not have taken the direction they have.
