Enormous faggots. McAffee, AVG, Spybot, ZoneAlarm, and Malwarebytes say it's fine.
Bricks were not quite shat, FCEU has cleesed video that flips up and down rather than
scrolling. But still a nice try.

How the hell is that done? Someone know the ol' NES processor ASM?

Yeah, a Ricoh 2A03 is basically just a 6502 processor with custom sound generation, so I think
you can generally use the same instruction set.
This doesn't work in the Wii's version of FCEU, however... it just makes the Wii barf code.
>> [_] Dwedit !kLM7f25nbs 09/21/08(Sun)22:45 No.827181
There are some versions of FCEU that limit CNROM games to 32KB of VROM instead of the
theoretical maximum of 2048KB. But try the newest version (called FCEUX) and it should work
fine.

Haha.
The music could use some work, but that's really impressive.
I'm a video game musician myself, and I do a bit of NES programming.
Did you write some kind of tool to process your video frames, or use a pre-existing one?
>> [_] Dwedit !kLM7f25nbs 09/22/08(Mon)05:18 No.827314
>>827301
I did the music in Famitracker.
To convert the video, I first exported each frame to a PNG file using Virtualdub, Used
Irfanview Thumbnails to resize all images to 298x224 and combine them into one big image, then
I used Ulead Photoimpact to resize and dither all images to a common 4-color palette, then
adjusted the colors of that palette.
Then finally, I made a VB program to turn the bitmap into NES CHR data.
>> [_] Anonymous 09/22/08(Mon)05:27 No.827317
I figured something like that. I remember making a brief "video" sequence for a demo I wrote
years ago by drawing all the frames in one huge BMP in MS Paint... I figured out how to
automatically store only the tiles which changed in each frame, and just swap nametable
pointers on the changed tiles, which saved me some space. Dammit, now I feel like making
another NES demo.
I remember your Animutations from years ago, too, heh.
>> [_] Anonymous 09/22/08(Mon)05:29 No.827319
Going to bed now, but I'm totally gonna email you tomorrow about some NES demo shit. I think
we've talked before; I used to be "active" in the "animutation" "scene" back in the day and I
was on the mailing list and stuff.
>> [_] Dwedit !kLM7f25nbs 09/22/08(Mon)06:28 No.827328
Of course, I can't use DMC samples in this demo for obvious reasons.
>> [_] Anonymous 09/22/08(Mon)06:29 No.827329
This has been posted b4 and OP is NOT the OM of this flash

Of course you've seen it before, because I've posted it several times already. I think it's
only been posted two times by someone other than me.
Yes, I made this.
