Choose strength as starter perk, spend all shining gems on vitality/strength potions, keep going
to the lake til you find the shining beautiful sword.
It's incredibly easy to get 100 DEF and STR if you know how to play correctly.

>Buy vitality tincure
>use until 100 toughness and strength
Then you can save, refresh with debug mode off, fight whatever, equip whatever, or leave debug
mode on and use items infinitely. Which is much easier.
