"the old /b/ was better" was true for a long while when the board was moving so fast and was so
cluttered with spam that you could barely see any real posts. luckily moot fixed it eventually
with captcha.
though saying /b/ is the same today as it was years ago is not true. it might very well have been
"better" then for some people. smaller group of people = tighter hivemind. today there may be too
many different anons on /b/, it sure isn't the same as years ago.

I'd have to say tht /b/ was waaaay betterr at leasst when they still retained an interest in
anime and was mostly a bunch of nerds who like anime bickering w/ each other, but I may have been
here longer, also it wasn't moot who went public a couple of 4chan's stories and some of those
old hackers off of /b/ and the raids, back before the durrr not your personal army we hate fun
shit and then cancer slowly went from sitting over the front page of /b/ like any board to being
the whole board, still better than the part of /jp/ where everyone sages or nokosages and lets
the cancer eat the front page
