Cool, I just looked up HoD for the first time. The idea of online play sounds fun, but there's a
sense of solitude in metroidvanias that is threatened with multi-play. I think I'd rather explore
a new well-designed castle every couple of years than grind for gear with friends.

HoD kinda lets you do your own thing until you meet up with the group, and even then, there's
ways around interaction mostly. It's still fun anyway.

the idea of a cv mmo game wont exist cause players these days are too stupid to play it. these
days, players cant play a game without a tutorial. ever wonder why theres a tutorial for almost
EVERY SINGLE GAME thats released? back in the old days, there was hardly a tutorial. you read a
manual for it or figure it out on your own.
also, harmony of despair is already good. it just needs patches to even out the item drop rates.
i played for way too long and i only got 1 val+1.
also, shanoa is better than soma. soma is a broken character for newbies who cant play for shit.

Because games today know that paper manuals get lost sooner or later, so it's better to have a
manual in-game so the interface doesn't effectively become the biggest impediment to playing the
game.
