I know what anime it's from, but only because of Zone's flash and that terrible Scanty/Kneesocks
flash. I'd never have heard about it otherwise.
Not everyone is at all exposed to anime. People wouldn't automatically assume that 'stocking' was
important in the title, especially since flashes often have completely irrelevant names.
If they haven't heard of the anime, that link wouldn't be made. Fuck off, neckbeards.

The point isn't whether someone would assume the title matched or not. The point is that they
jumped straight into asking for source without even taking five seconds to try to look for
themselves. Sometimes the name doesn't have to do with the flash, yes, but a lot of the times it
does. They can tell it's an anime and the word Stocking shows up in the title. A 5-second google
search for the words "Stocking Anime" gives you several pictures of the character they just saw,
the wikipedia page for the anime, and a few other links.
