Last time I played with the same strategy, I had everywhere but Cuba, Madagascar, and New Zealand
dead. This time I never made it out of Asia.

>Go parasite for the added stealth
>Use initial points to remove all symptoms
>Slowly build up resistances
>Once you've built up your resistances to about two of each, start adding infection stats -
airborne, waterborne, etc

If you've got enough points in drug resistance and are infecting enough people to start shutting
down hospitals then you can basically outpace the vaccine.
