For one you can't force him to squeeze between tiles like you can her, and for another his joints

Really? I can.

Actually, no they don't. Wedged him between two tiles that overlapped eachother vertically (as in
stacked on top of eachother and overlapping) by a distance equal to the width of his head, pulled
him through by the hand, his elbow separated from the rest of his arm by a full
arm-section-length, and his upper arm separated from his torso by the same, then he snapped
through and bounced around just like the bubblegirl would.
Seriously, this reacts exactly the same way to everything as the bubblegirl, except with lower
quality graphics. The "corners" of the stairs don't exist, he slides off of them as though they
were circles with cardboard cutouts in front of them,
