My guess is they've already seen it. I must have seen it... god, over a decade ago. Or they're in
disbelief that it was actually a real proposal and not just a satirical fan-work, and that
American Sailormoon could have been way, *way* worse.

Usually attributed to Saban, yes it was a pitch to get the US rights to Sailor Moon. Toon Makers
(which shot the US sequences of power rangers) was using this as a pitch to get the rights to it
at the time.
