The bundled Nestopia plays both .nes files fine.
Unrar'd, unzipped, and executed via Wine on Linux. It might be trying to bork my windows install,
but since I have none I see no signs of it of course.
The SWF/RAR is at least mostly legit though.

So download Nestopia from Sourceforge yourself and you can be sure it's a legit build. The .nes
files will be sandboxed by it, they can't possibly harm your system.
