Damn, it's shocking how stoked we got for this game.

To be fair, it was really good before the pay to win part overwhelmed it.
Honestly, it's got all the fundamentals of an amazing game underneath the cash shop shit.

I don't get why people dislike this game, I personally fucking love it. All you have to do is not
suck if you want to buy better weapons without paying cash for them. It's really not hard to earn
XP any more, they drastically upped the rate from what it was back in beta.

>pay to win
Holy shit what?
I get so much EXP I have decked out every single class with their ultimate weapons, I have never
spent a single cent on this game and I don't even play Raider or Sentinel.
I just purchased the SAP20 with exp alone, then unlocked all its expansions with even more exp. I
am still sitting on 30k exp and will probably be back up to 88k, the point where you can purchase
anything by tomorrow.

Oh, and "ultimate weapons" as in the 88000 exp items when applicable.
Thumper, Phase Rifle/SAP20, MIRV Launcher, Plasma Gun, Plasma Cannon etc.

RingofLight, rank 30 (although on the brink of 31).
I've been collecting a lot of Badges. I'm an achievement whore.

s0lus, level 26. I mostly only play after updates, to play with whatever new toys they add.

The thumper, plasmas, and MIRV are all serious downgrades to people without downs syndrome and
can aim worth a dick

Let's dissect this.
>The thumper,
Gives the technician absolute territory control indoors, leaving the only threat being a brute
squad. Utterly neuters the Technician's outdoor capability. Incomparable for defending
generators, terrible for defending flags.
>> [_] Anonymous 09/24/12(Mon)02:02 No.1771060
>plasmas,
Grants the Raider abilities he cannot accomplish otherwise, being able to take on an anti-crowd
role instead of his singular combat with his SMGs or defense combat with the Arx Buster. More
controlled than his Grenade Launcher.
The Plasma Gun is a decisive upgrade unless you want to be killing generators all day. The Raider
is best as a warrior with his SMGs anyway, which are a subweapon and would not be replaced.
Plasma Cannon, however, just gives the brute a secondary smashing weapon. Lets them control the
field a little better, and replaces the nearly useless automatic shotgun. The Devastator
Spinfusor is better for most purposes, but lets them trade off for the Gladiator for indoor
dominance and anti-base defenses while still retaining explosive outdoor combat power.

>and MIRV
Really, it's a matter of taste whether it's MIRV or Fusion Mortar Deluxe. They're equal
side-grades.
Deluxe for the sharp-shooters who want more kills than control, the MIRV for area-deniers who
want more control than kills.
A MIRV can obliterate a field of defenses with two shots, but not get any kills out of it. It can
also be used to effectively prevent rebuilding defenses better than the Deluxe. The Deluxe,
however, is superior at indoor combat, with more controlled powerful bursts that dominate
anything but another heavy.
