I miss the days when Disney had fucking -balls-.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame was clearly not a kid's movie. Nowadays it's all Pixar horseshit.
They don't even MAKE Mickey cartoons anymore, not even House of Mouse.
All just fodder for Kingdom Hearts nowadays. (Speaking of Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 3D
completely dropped the ball; La Cite des Cloches just has a generic Dream Eater boss instead of
Frollo.)

samefag here, not that i'm impling the catholic church never burned people, mind you. but it was
mostly for political or heresy reasons, only occasionally for witchcraft. the protestants and
puritans especially were the most fixated on witches and the devilish women.

Disney really doesn't make cartoons like this anymore. I really like The Fox and The Hound as
well as the Alley Cats (especially Uncle Waldo)
Dammit Disney!

I know a lot of people didn't like The Princess and the Frog, but it had a certain ballsy quality
to it.

This is why I feel sorry for anyone born mid to late nineties. They never had any GOOD Disney
movies. Hell, some the good Disney movies had at least one death. They brought a full variety of
emotion. I remember being 8 when The Lion King was in theaters. I went from awe at the vastness
of their "Kingdom", spooked by the boneyard, crying at the death of Mufasa, singing and damn near
dancing during "Hakuna Matata", it was awesome to my past self. Now a days kids have shit. I
decided to stream the Lion King a couple weeks ago. WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO THE "MORNING
REPORT"!?!? They turned it into some fucked up song. Colors and the such were just wrong as well.
My childhood is dying. Give me old Disney, it was much better.
