Why was this more fun and entertaining than diablo 3?

The game starts getting difficult at Expert Mage AI, but the level just before it should be
useful for getting used to the options. There's not a lot of them, sadly, say maybe 10 for each
power; you'll probably be falling into predictable playing patterns before you realize it.
Additionally, the AI doesn't seem to know what to do with various skills sometimes and has no
foresight. I've never seen it summon anything significantly powerful either, to be honest. The
real challenge it poses is a decent management of low-level creatures.
Creatures that damage you or your own creatures are worthless; don't bother playing them (or do
play them and give yourself a challenge...). Creatures that cause only one damage are
surprisingly useful, so don't neglect them. Creatures that increase the growth of a Power are
severely overpowered, especially Earth. Dear god, Earth, and your +2 growth elves. That Power
shouldn't be allowed to have a +X attack creature in its rotation ...
