it's supposedly meant as a dramatization of the vocaloid project as a whole
meiko - trail blazed the concept of vocaloids but was ultimately lost in obscurity.
kiato - likewise failed to impress many and the first vocaloid project was canceled.
miku - is mostly how popular she is and how the author feels the fan base that has grown up
around her has corrupted the original concept of vocaloid.
len&rin - reference the often forgotten fact the two were originally designed as backup vocals.
