This story takes place in a construct world which is alluded to in the two main flash stories.
The big give aways are the digitization that you occasionally see. Apparently this takes place
within a shared world that was constructed in order to allow comatose patients the ability to
heal or something along those lines.
In the middle of everything, the system went apeshit and the values shifted to allow the
characters to have manifestations of their will to survive as weapons and abilities.
Naturally that results in more than a few people going apeshit....
