Ffmpeg and mencoder both works great. If you don't set any parameters the quality goes down a lot
so just look up switches for stuff like quality, max file size and stuff like that.

Personally I use Xlisoft SWF converter 6, the trial version limits you to three minutes total
though, but that's not a huge deal IMO, as anything past that looks rough as guts.
