Sup /f/. I need some advice.
How do I get my loops sounding less shit? Namely, the transition? I can't seem to figure it out.
As you can hear it's pretty rough in this flash, yet that's the best I can get it. Any tips?

When I made the Nyanners POMF loop for Party Hard, I used Sony Vegas and took a look at the
waveform. I then looked around for similar sections of beats, even if they were less than a
second of similarity.
There was a heavy amount of OCD when I set the loop positions on the song, often listening to the
loop for hours at a time through Vegas while doing other things to see if I could catch the
transition point. When I was satisfactory, I would export it and import it to the flash to be
independent from the animation, whose frame length was the amount necessary to perform a seamless
loop.
If your audio file is not independent of the animation, then the transition will be based on the
framerate of the flash (typically 24FPS), rather than the audio file itself.
In the event that the audio file is synchronized to the animation, then the transition will be
based on the frame.

I'd give you stick about listening to a loop for so long but I do the same. Namely epic weiner.
BTW thanks for the tips, wasn't aware of the transition/FPS relation. And I'm still trying to get
the hang of Audacity, to the point where I just crop the bulk of the audio out then use a utility
called mpTrim to get the last second or so lined up, but I only go by sound since it doesn't have
a waveform display.

Song, anyone?
I can tell it's someone's mix of Pump Up The Jam, but I have no idea what it is.
