Other than that, it's true. Nowadays my cable company is trying to understand why there are so
many people who get internet but don't bother getting cable. The only reason people in my
demographic 'round here have televisions is for Xbox or PS3, cable being the alternative only for
sports, but soon even that will port over to streaming.
Not sure if this is good riddance or bad omens. It improves the ability to microcast and target
specialized interests, but as a result it reduces budget potential for the future's equivalent of
"television" shows.
