Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.
It's actually pretty bloody at some parts, though it tries to remain PG13 with the gore.
Pretty cool story, though it starts off a little slow (just to fuck with you, really) and
confusing - One of the few animes I watched all the way through.

The anime is Higurashi no naku koro ni
It's pretty great, if only for how messy it gets. Not really moe at all, it's more about how the
town is really fucked up.
