Shoot it with bullets.
You may find it helpful to fly upwards, cut your engines, turn around, and blast as you stop
going up.
Or to descend at a shallow angle from the top of the sky, strafing the sea continuously.

I feel like this game might be more fun with the ability to drop bombs. Right around 1500 points,
there are too many planes and bullets flying around to really focus fire on any one ship.
