It's still around, sure, but not like it once was. Maybe that's what makes it all the more

4chan was growing too quickly, and it would've been a full-time job for oldfriends to reply "lurk
moar" to newfriends. With more users and boards for them to be fragmented across, it's only
natural the memes/language would also become more fragmented.
Fun exercise: lurk a completely alien board you'd expect to have no interest in and see what
little oddities emerge. Last night, I clicked into the wrong thread in /vg/ and learned all about
some truck driving simulator and how "cozy" it can all be.
