It's actually completely non-specific to Christianity - Exodus is one of the founding chapters of
Abrahamic mythology, if you watch to the end of the credits you'll find quotes from the Old
Testament/Torah, the New Testament, and the Qur'an that all reference Moses as a Pretty Cool Guy.
