Teflon, aka, Polytetrafluoroethylene, is hyrdophobic, the gastric acids would most likely not be
strong enough to affect it. Its also has one of the lowest coefficients of friction against any
solid. Which is why its used on frying pans to cook meat without sticking. If it was indeed a
teflon like material, it would hopefully observe both these traits, which would help both in
