Back then, video game developers had to work with crappy hardware, so this was the best any
realistic video was going to look and sound on an 8bit system.
That doesn't mean their work was inferior. Many designers came up with ways to stylize the video
game and effectively use those tools they had. I'll take stylized 8bit over classless 1080p 3d
any day.
