The flash animations are actually one of the few parts of Homestuck which are actually really
good.

To understand it you have to spend at least 7 hours skimming thru about 3k pages of the webcomic
and read several megabytes of chats between its characters. And also, you WILL need explanations
on HomeStuck wiki.
Else you can just watch it and enjoy as some strange cartoonish story that doesn't need to be
understood.
