Religion may have not saved the people, but, it gave them hope of a better afterlife. A comfort

You should probably justify the claim that religion is the origin of both hope and morality, or
at least try. The existence of religion does not prove its necessity, so the majority of the
argument thus far is fallacious.

It's necessity was made by the fact of understanding and finding an answer to why we were here
and what is the point of life. I shouldn't have said that religion was the source of hope and
morality, just a good conduit, my mistake in that part. The truth is that it gives people an
answer, a purpose, a reason for their existence. I mean I can't prove it to you scientifically,
but, you can just see it all around you how people survive day to day with a religion in their
minds continuing on while before they would just give up and die.

In fact I'd say Zeitshit is patently pseudoscientific, testing is part and parcel to the
scientific process and almost everything outlined in ALL the zeitgeist material I've read is
completely untested conjecture.
Not to mention ANY justification for the processes are conspicuously missing, instead of an
explanation, Zeitzombies will explain why other systems don't work, and since their theoretical
system theoretically doesn't have this one problem, it's completely perfect in every way and we
should take no issue with Zeitshits deconstructing all of our infrastructure in an attempt to
rebuild society, because clearly nothing can go wrong.

the arguments I've heard do not consider the facts against the zeitgeist movement.
Trade or money is a religion.
Property is violence.
Sharing (open-source) is good for public health.
There has never been a point in human history when trade has been a valid idea since competition
is bad for public health.
Rich mansions literally tower over poorer houses in my area, that is covert violence because of
the falsely accepted rules of our current money-trade-political-religious social system

as modren money mechanics clearly states, money only needs confidence (faith) to exist in it to
buy real goods and services.
Trade or money, is not and never will be a real good or service, it is a hinderance.
Considering your ad hominem fallacy, yes property is violence, rich people towering over the poor.
open source is good for public health as people sharing blue-prints, possessions, gets the job
done concerning, reducing to eliminating poverty, and enabling technology to grow.
weapons is a product of trade no needlessly defend property which mother nature has provided to
exist, not you.
The fruit of your labour is actually enabled by natural laws as understood by science, which

While what you say is true, people can be misled and given answers to those basic questions which
will make them lead unhappier lives. Just because religion provides AN answer, it doesn't mean it
provides a good answer. Religion as it is provides rudimentary answers, as it was one of our
first attempts at the questions.
Personally, I don't think the question 'why are we here' is even well-posed, which is the reason
I think we've not found an answer. It's a quirk of the mind that we should think in terms of
'why' where such teleological thinking may not be meaningful at all.
