I vote we remain a neutral nation. We should be isolated, distinct, and glorious, much like this
board; a fountain of creativity and prosperity, the envy of all the other boards.
However, if we must choose sides, we should have one enemy: /mlp/, for posting their shitty
flashes here. If only the zeitgeist fuckheads had a board, we would be their worst enemy.

Remaining neutral will diplomatically keep foreign garrisons off of our soil, but it also leaves
us more open to attack. /b/ and /pol/ intend to wipe out the smaller islands, then stage their
assault on /mlp/. Getting in good with their allies will indirectly allow us to avoid conflict,
considering we are one of the smallest factions.
We should ally ourselves with at least one other board that can reach our island in five minutes
by boat.

If we don't ally ourselves with a bigger power, we're going to have a really hard time. /b/ seems
to not be making plans to personally ally with anyone, which means their island is going to be
rife with internal conflict. However, even though they are very disorganized, they still intend
to spread their claim more than fight amongst themselves.
The other small-time boards are in a better situation than us. We can be directly reached from
the mainland, and there is a massive channel of water spanning across the top of the map which
conveniently leads right into some of our major bays. The other small boards are hidden behind
other, larger boards that will stand their ground and defend against foreign intruders, allowing
the small boards to take an apathetic stance by default of property layering.

Directly allying with /b/ is too risky. They are too unstable, and we are simply too small for
such a large procession.
Better decisions would be the closer, and more relatively-sized factions, like /ic/, /e/, and
/wg/, which would indirectly help us maintain free, safe travel across all but the far east of
the map.

with/alliance if we want absolute safe travel.

/s/ is one of the few wild-card boards, like /a/, though /s/ isn't as big a deciding factor.
These boards have land, but so far there has been either no discussion about alliances, or it has
been very private. Either way, /s/ would be a very helpful partner due to its large size.
But there's the thing. Their island is massive, but there has been little talk or representation
of the landmass. I fear that it will go unclaimed, and subsequently be occupied by the quickest
team. Even if there were people on it, they would need a lot to defend that much area, and
probably end up depending a lot more on /f/ than /f/ would get help in return.
