You have to wander around. Eventually youll get to a spot where text will appear at the top of
your screen. There should be at least 3 places for battle. after that, you'll fight the boss.
then move onto the next area, rinse repeat.
Also, it's worth it to spend your money on lenghtening your weapon when you get the option later
I'm not sure how to damage the efreet though, I do no damage to him. I figure I need a specific
enchantment on my sword, but I can't find the gems for strengthening damage against fire.

i got stuck at this boss too but i had 2 aquamarines to enchant my sword with. i could
technically damage him but at that point i realized just what a big fucking waste of time
everything was and decided to do something else.
