I made a .flv and embedded it in flash, then at the end I have a gotoAndPlay code so it loops
around to about a third through where I want it to loop, but it always has like a half second gap
at the end.
How do you guys do it?

I stay away from FLV style loops myself, but they are useful for longer stretches. Depending on
how long it is, it might be worth exporting the looped section as individual frames (but keep the
FLV intro). That way, you have much more control over the loop seam, and you can fine-tune the
quality quite a bit too.

Afaik flv is the only way to put video in flash?
Do you mean you make image sequences with sound?

It's not going to stop them. Besides, when they post shit here, you'll find that you're going to
be watching things you would never usually find on your own browsing Youtube.
In my efforts I tried to rid /f/ of shitty converted youtube videos (AMVs in particular) by
introducing a Youtube Player that embedded straight from youtube. There were plenty of features,
but it never caught on because it didn't occur to me that no one on /f/ owned or pirated Flash
CS3. And now I'm too lazy to port it to something Flex can read.
It was used for great things though. A few people posted informative videos; animated lectures,
other interesting things.
