Beat running bear but can't figure out how to jump the canyon

running bear is wrong direction
I can jump on platform, jump back before spikes coming up hit, jump back on platform, jump over
hole, jump back on platform before spikes coming down hit, jump back over hole (and spikes) and
get that way to screen to the left

Okay so I figured out a new way to go. I jump on the platform and then back to the starting point
and then I go under the spikes. Under there, there's a guy who normally kicks me and kills me.
One time, I managed to get past him but then he fell on me and killed me because I hesitated.

I managed to get all the way past the belly flop dude and came to 3 levitated platforms the first
two lower and the last one raises, then there were two guys holding up a box, if you shoot then
the box hits a switch and spikes crush you and if you jump over the box you get flung into the
spikes... hard

So how far I got: Jump on the platform to the left side, don't tocuh the ground - slide back
under the spikes.
Hug left, dodges the punch AND kick.
Land on the platform and immediately jump right into the next room
Jump on the first two platforms immediately, as they fall, the third rises - so just walk off the
right side without jumping.
SOON as you're in the next room jump over it all, don't shoot.
Then don't go down the first hole since apparently that's a death trap that i just learned.
