[_] soo... files now have fixed cooldowns? A nonymous 08/05/13(Mon)19:43 No.2065029
How long does it take for a repost?
not even 24 hours I would guess
also: file limit/day is now 2 ??
And /f/ is even faster than ever
What a summer this gonna be...

File limit has always been 3 a day, not that it's hard to get around.
File cooldown is 3 days, same as it always has been, but /f/ not being that fast no one really
notices either of these things, if people want to spam the board they will anyway even though
these things have been in place since fucking color spam in 05.

it's just there's some flashes that I've seen continuously the last days, hope they don't use the
"add garbage to flash technique" as it fucks up the archive
The reason I was asking is, that the files stayed on the server for some time after the link
vanished, to prevent the "delete post and repost technique"
The files now vanish instantly, but still there's a waiting time from server
And lastly, I could have sworn the file limit was 4, that would halve it!

It's still three, moot has just gotten better at setting md5checksum timeouts so that he doesn't
have to host the files for two months, it's probably just some much needed maintenance on
4channel.org which hasn't happened since 2005, when 4channel and world4ch died.
