Yes, from what I've seen, I can't imagine what provoked that response.

Sometimes cops go overboard with the idea that people have to do exactly what they say when they
say it. Under no circumstances does an old man, who could very easily have a heart attack from
the exertion, need to be tasered.
Even if he's physically threatening someone, the cop ought to just shoot him if he's armed anyway
or tackle him otherwise. This is ridiculous.

looks like he was trying to tell them that he couldn't put his arm behind his back (probably due
to arthritis) and they decided, like assholes, that he was resisting. some cops really shouldn't
be cops.

OP Here,
What i find amazing is how quickly he recovered from the taser. Also he was held in contempt it
seems due to the person on the stand was talking "poorly" about his wife.

If he was so dangerous, he'd be in handcuffs already at the trial. You're telling me two

Totally unnecessary escalation of force.

I see people saying it was too much force...
But regardless of a man's physical appearence, if -you- were in the cops' shoes. Would you take
the risk of not using enough force to subdue a man who you already know is willing to kill?

Sorry to tell you guys this, but in America, you aren't hired if you're too smart. They assume
smart people apparently get tired of beating up old men, attacking niggers, and following the
beck and call of the Jew when white people disagree.

position and hardly anything ever comes of it.

Just 2? are you fucking blind or do you regularly avoid news and headlines about asshole cops?
When we give as much power to them as they currently have they are obligated to respect it. They
don't, across the board. Police departments all over the country don't respect their own
authority, they abuse it and waive it around like a rag doll and anyone that gets hit by said
metaphorical rag doll is of no consequence to them. Pull your head out of your ass.

I think Standard Procedure for when people get Mouthy in Court is to have the Baliff escourt them
back into containment. Which, for a convict might be a brig, or a squad car. However,
A) If he was a con at the time, why was he not in cuffs already?
B) Even if he was getting physical, I have no doubts that the officers would have him under
control. They could just force-walk him out - The taser seemed excessive. I don't see him being
overly forceful or threatening, just mouthy.
C) Ok, so now knowing he's a con of some sort, that still doesn't demonize him enough to make
this OK. Anyone can be a hair's breadth from the wrong side of the law. https://en.wikipedia.

Scope the Lawyer sweeping in to grab the chair. Who does he think he's helping? Seems like the
odd job to step up to do.

A convict must be in handcuffs unless the escorting officers are otherwise directed by the judge
to remove the handcuffs.
So in this case, he must have had his cuffs removed by the escorting officers.
Don't know enough about the backstory to say anything else, but I come from a custodial
background so if there's a story somewhere I can tell you more.
And the lawyer was at least doing something, instead of standing around like most bystanders in
every video ever.

When cops try to cuff you and you resist that, you're resisting. And they can taze you. And

Better to be tazed than shot. They problem was the cops not being able to control an old man. But
the alternative is more physical violence as a result of forcing him into cuffs. Before tazers
they would have beat him with batons.
>that people have to do exactly what they say when they say it
But they do. If the have cause. That guy wouldn't leave. They tried to force him to leave. He
wouldn't.
