The thing that makes it funny is that the depressing "facts" are mixed in with real facts, making
me accidentally believe the depressing "facts" for a split second, causing my heart to sink. It
tricked me into feeling something I wouldn't normally feel, which is funny and interesting to me.

because they are surrounded by actual facts. It's an interesting emotional/psychological effect.
