How DO you install archlinux? I run it up but I can't figure out how to get a graphic gui like
gnome to start, am I supposed to install it myself somehow?

Follow the wiki, find the wiki page on KDE, because you don't want Gnome. Gnome 3 is shit.

KDE is shit too, but this guy is obviously not that proficient in linux quite yet. If he were
going to use something that wasn't shit he would just use X and configure SLiM or something for a
login manager and a decent WM.
