Requesting help with flash error.
I don't know how many of you on /f/ actually make animations, but if anyone could help me that'd
be rad.
So whenever I make an animation that's longer than a minute, the sound always slowly goes out of
sync with the video. I think the video is playing slightly faster than the audio but I don't know
what to do for it.
I'm using flash cs6 version 12.0.0.481

Are you talking like one large audio clip?
What did you set it as? I usually do a stream for larger ones which helps with syncing.

You're probably not still here anon, but I have multiple stream files for music, sound effects,
and voiceovers. The thing is they slowly become out of sync with the video as it progresses.

whats the sauce for the two songs that play in this flash? (the one played during the flash movie
and the one that plays with the replay button on screen afterwards).

the credit song is called 'feels like meh'
you can find this flash and ^ that song on newgrounds;
the flash page on ng will probably contain the song source.

I'm not a flash programmer, so I'm not sure if you're saying you have a loop of sound or video
that slowly get out of sync, or if its a longer clip (for one or both) that slowly get out of
sync. However, when I looked into how that 0x40 shades of megumi flash, the guy said that in
order to get the animation to sync with the music, he used WAV clips, not a compressed clip like
MP3. Something to do with the fact that MP3 playback ALWAYS had some kind of millisecond delay at
the beginning and end of playback, where WAV did not. Perhaps if you start there, you'll find
what you need?
