You don't need any stat but charisma. Yell them to death.

Strength - Increases your damage, makes axes and clubs available to you
Agility - Makes you faster, makes ranged weapons and swords available to you
Attack - more % your hits will land on the foe.
Defence - less % your foe will land a hit on you
Charisma - More successful taunts, more successful crowd entertainment
Stamina - Increases your max HP
Magicka - increases your proficiency with magic and opens up new spells and potions
the other stat gives you more energy.
I made it so far into the game I could jump from one side of the arena to the other in two jumps.
I'd just arrow them to death, but was beaten in a tournament when my fucking jump mechanic fucked
up and I became stuck in the wall, unable to escape some nigger with a hueg axe

I tried just yelling them all to death, but there's a certain randomness to it, and if you don't
have anything but charisma, you have to rest twice after every taunt after a certain point
