is this like some jap meme
why are they always so tame compared to our memes
like what do they have, OSs as anime girls and ASCII cats, we base ours off murderers and subtle
deception
i think i know who wins

No.
This character is the Stage 5 boss (as well as Stage 4, 5, and 6 midbosses), Rin Kaenbyou, or her
nickname Orin. She's a cat.
The little squeak-squeak-squeak-NYA! dance thing is from a Higurashi flash.
This isn't even japanese in origin, though, as it was made by Walfas, who is american.
>i think i know who wins
Theirs, of course. I'd take the Nijiura Maids over anything 4chan's created ever.

I just realized that I said "Stage 5 Boss" but didn't even mention the game she came from.
Touhou 11, Subterranean Animism.

The squeak-squeak-nya thing is from Monster Hunter :|
I'm not sure about the other games, but the Download screen on Monster Hunter Freedom 2 plays
that music while a little Felyne in the top right corner dances, doing the squeak-squeak-nya
thing.

Yup yup.
Why do I keep seeing this so much now though? Am I just late to the party? Monster Hunter 2 isn't
exactly new.

The song is, but the noodle-armed swing-left-swing-right raise-arms-on-nya was made famous by a
Higurashi flash.

It's in the game (The song, the dance, and the weird sound effects). When you go to the download
screen in MHF2
