Utawarerumono was an awesome anime about cat/dog girls, a guy in a funny mask, and the desire to
bring happiness to the common people in a land sort of like feudal Japan.
Then they threw in some fucking giant robots and weird science, and the whole thing went to shit.

It depends on your tastes. Utawarerumono is well made, but all the humour in it is basically a
place catch your breath from all the srs.
