I just put Zombie Shakespeare out of his misery FPS style, with a double barrel shotgun. Took a

So I feel down a 25ft manhole. Found a time machine and went as far back as I could. I wandered
into the city which then turned into a forest even farther back in time. I cornered Shakespeare
and decided to attempt torching him with a flamethrower...
The time machine acted up again and sent me to hitlers bunker where he stole my time machine.
Foolishly thinking, I waited for his return for a while before giving up on him. He ruined the
planet so I went to the docks, thinking it would be pirate time. But in the boat was a zombie.
I turned into a zombie and ate peoples brains and Won.

The game is making subtle satire of how siera adventure games would have deaths that would fuck
you over extremely hard if you didn't do things in an exact order in an exact way and that you
would die from completely unpredictable crap that there would be no way to see coming without
some kind of guide.
The irony is:
Adventure games like these often had deaths that had absolutely no warning. The manticore
symbolizes all the, "wait, what killed me? where the fuck did that come from?" moments prominent
in early adventure games.
Of course you would know this if you played any other game besides halo.
