So, in the first floor room with the three buttons, pressing the left then middle ones opens a
staircase to the third floor from the second. It also results in your death, but that's pretty
much standard procedure in this one, apparently.

Those three buttons are randomized; you can either get horsied and not die, piranhaed and die, or
hit the button you want.
The only other thing I can find is that there seems to be 3 different books you can take with you
from the library (leftstairway->leftdoor)
Oh, and if you go leftstairway->middledoor->middledoor, you can get to 4 binary switches that I
can't get to do anything.

Thanks, I'll try that. The next thing I don't understand is the doorway at the end of that big
hall with columns. It won't let me through, I guess I'll have to try the different books.

The statue item lets you survive the third floor opening sequence. The angel survives and the
left big guy dies in a big fart.

Okay so the bottom library book (the other two are above it and to the left of it) with the
longest name I think kills Earthquake on the 3rd floor and puts you in a room with two doors...

so i went in, opened up the staircase to the 3rd floor, grabbed all 6 books, and the crystal from
the cement girl, but when i go up to the 3rd floor 2 big dudes massacre me and the angel.. wtf do
i do? i know on the 1st floor in the left-hand room there's a guy who kicks my ass, and those
pits on the 2nd floor mostly kill you, so what's up?
