Before each move, it often helps to look for all of the outliers - blocks that are have too few
in one direction to ever eliminate that way, but just enough in the other direction to completely
wipe out that entire row. Such patterns can safely be eliminated, since wiping any of the blocks
in that row any other way would obviously render the puzzle unsolvable.
