Yeah. I never understood how people can like how the series wrapped up. After everything, his
team basically shrugs and lets him do it alone. He makes with the random combat with some dude
and organisation that we don't really care about. Then he croaks. Shit was just too loose. I get
that the entire series was supposed to be episodic but without enough exposure to the plot
elements, they're just deus ex machina with the vaguest of foreshadowing (and no investment).

I always felt that it was a great series because of this. Too many stories let you know every
single detail of the world and the events that happened within them.
This is all well in good in some form of story telling, but this was one of those exceptions that
allowed you to get closer to a character without knowing every single detail about them.
My investment in the characters, and Spikes specifically, was through what I learned about his
actions through his actions. Not through who he was before, but what he is now, and forever will
be.

I agree. There is the manga if you can find it, had some more bounties that were not in the anime
series. Also short though, only 3 volumes I believe.
How the industry is now though, I wish more shows ended early than having to go through an
additional 4 seasons full of fan service and crappy half-assed story arcs.
