I was expecting a song. =(

I say "Wow, someone posted this AGAIN?" and close the window.

Sorry, I typically don't get around to knishing things until I've seen them pop up here.
Next time, maybe.

Didn't mean that. I was half-expecting a sweet remix or something after the first line or two,
since who fucking posts a nuclear attack alert on 4chan - it's already boring as fuck.

Too bad, you'll be getting knishes anyway.

So what are the chances of surviving a nuke?

OP you're dumb as fuck. Unless you have a substantial shelter, you're dead, no matter how much
looting you do.

Knishes only work if you're expecting something. There's no point knishing this if people turn it
off after 4 seconds.

You mean like a nuke to the face?, or a nuke fired on the other side of the country, Define what
you mean a little more DEWD

Depends greatly on the bomb itself and where you are in relation to ground zero.
If it is a fusion bomb then you are going to die for many many miles around the ground zero of
the bomb with very little chance of survival. If it is a fission bomb then the ground zero is
going to be much smaller and the chances of surviving are greater.

Not the guy you are replying to but if they are using the word "nuke" they probably don't know
what they are talking about to begin with.

Surviving a nuclear strike isn't a problem. You either do or you don't, unless you have reliable
access to a shelter, if you're within the blast range you're pretty much fucked. The real problem
is surviving the collapse of society and infrastructure that follows such a event. Not being
killed by a giant explosion is meaningless if you lose access to food, water, and power.

A few miles? You'd better have a pretty substantial shelter because that's still within the blast
radius. If that doesn't get you, the fallout probably will.

If it's a North Korea bomb it has to literally hit you to take you out. Technology is tough for
them.

Do they even maintain those anymore?
Anyway, I live far away from any large town, so I only have to worry about the collapse of
society.
