It's not licensing issues. Japanese TV stations have fewer and shorter commercial breaks, so
intros and endings can be longer. That's why none of the shows on Toonami have full
openings/endings.

Japanese opening is typical posing/running into sunset drivel they use for effectively every
show. Subjectively, American alternate intro is different and humorously classy by comparison.
The use of super ol'skool adventure mode, followed by funk/jazz fusion music added strong
atmosphere to the character's world.

We used to have laws regulating how many commercials were allowed per hour and how long they
were. The faggot ass advertising companies bribed those laws out of existence so now we have 5
minutes of show and ten minutes of LOUD AS FUCK commercials. Oh wait, they pissed off some
senators with that stupid shit and that was recently outlawed. So if you hear a LOUD AS FUCK
commercial on any station, report their bitch asses for their well deserved massive fine.
