I think the main point in putting hentai parts in anime would be to show something about the
characters.

This is from Mezzo Forte, which was a two-episode thing meant to push interest in the longer
Danger Service Agency anime.
They put one hentai scene into each episode to, supposedly, attract more people. DSA doesn't have
any hentai at all, and no one ever hears about it.
