I love this show but these clips aren't really showing it in its best light. The main draw for me
is the retroscripted dialogue throughout the whole thing, rather than any structured 'jokes'.

I think it's the kind of show you need to watch in context. Like the other guy said, the humor
can't always be distilled into short clips. All the episodes aren't great, but they've all still
been fairly solid.

it's mostly about the quality of the writing. They tell good stories. Adult Swim isn't really
known for that and usually caters to teenagers that can't pay attention past anything above
slapstick. The newest episode is a really good example of a well designed short story.

If you watch the episodes and get a grip on the context you can pretty much enjoy it.
Hell /co/ lost thier shit seeing the episode that >>2345403 showed the preview for. The episode
was a science vs magic with Rick and the Devil so it goes deeper. Just watch the episodes and
decide for yourself. I will say this, the show has some damn good writers and this show is still
in its first season, season finale is next week.
