Ken was down to very little health, any single hit would KO him (not to mention the whole combo),
blocking every single hit in SF3 is no small deed, the time gap you can actually do that is very
small for each punch/kick

...He wasn't blocking, he was parrying, which means moving forward into the opponent's attack
with precise timing. It's usually safe to hold back and block but in that situation, playing it
safe would mean death.

Except in this situation the Chun's super would have killed him with chip damage through the
blocking. Parrying was the only way to survive and he handled it like a boss.
