Depends on whether you leave the stock HSF on them. God knows I replace that shit the second I
buy it and get it home. Sure it requires me to cut a new heatsink to fit the chipset, but it
means I get to decide where the airflow goes and I can affix any fan I please to it. You better
believe those fuckers stay cool with two Thermaltake saffron 80mm compression fans on it.

I dunno about you but my GPU doesn't overheat or even get close to overheating ever.

After The Second World War, many gpu's were captured by ATI and other allied forces. These
graphic cards were often disassembled and kept in two parts, gpu and mainboard. Each has a serial
number. Most GTX's, Nvidea 950's and other graphic cards of the era that were captured either a:
have obvious damage, b: have mismatched serial numbers or c: were destroyed. To have an
undamaged, matching serial number of these graphic cards is akin to getting a vintage
soundblaster card in mint condition or other such collectors item. That's why overclocking it and
ruining it is such a big deal.

>buy high end card
>place in cramped case with barely any airflow and unmanaged cables
>crank up overclock to highest afterburner settings
>run benchmarks for six hours
>it's nvidia's fault my card broke

sooooo Americas love graphic cards too much?
I already knew that, but I still don't get why it's such a big deal to overclock some gpu, if it
still works it shouldn't be a problem, after all it's just a gpu, point, click, and head about
the dead american children on the leader board of CoD.

If you can't see the value in collector's pieces, then you're a fucking retard. This shit is akin
to taking a dump on an original, MONSTER 3Dfx card, or screwing off the glass off of an old CRT
monitor and replacing it with matt white plastic. What if someone took the girl you had a crush
on, beat the shit out of her and popped her ass cherry? Yeah, there are millions like her, and
yeah, with a little work she could probably come close to the way she was before, but still.....
Objects can hold historical, cultural and emotional significance; it doesn't matter how many of
them there are, if they are important in the least, you should treat them with respect.
