Well, in comparison to DotA, it's just a more simple, laid back 'moba'. A lot of the deeper
mechanics and strategies present in DotA aren't possible in League, the most obvious one being
denying creeps / towers / allied heroes.
That might explain some of its popularity. The rest of the explanation is that they cater to
their demographic. And that demographic tends to like women with cleavage showing.

LoL is about as laid back as walking in a minefield. DotA, of course, would be like disarming a
nuke in the middle of a densely populated metropolis with everyone watching and shouting
contradicting advice.

Polymers, man. Polymers. In this day and age we aren't bound by the rules of old textiles. Shirts
that fit so snugly they leave no empty gap between breasts? Piece of cake. Metal that follows the
jiggle of breasts? No problem. Men have spent hundreds of years perfecting female comfort wear
