honestly who walks like this try walking round your room putting same arm and same leg out at the
same time.

Its a start. not the best start but you have to start form somewhere. Try looking at how people
love. Get clips of live action and other animations and think about timing, weight and movement.
i have seen a lot worse by the way.

This right here.
It's you're (supposed) first animation. I've seen comparable to stuff made by second year
students at my college.
It's not a ringing endorsement of their abilities or attention to detail but it does show you
have the idea of the fundamentals down, it just takes refinement.

It's a MUST HAVE (with the videos) if you are serious about the art of fbf animation.
Keep at it; if you love it, you will pwn it.
On the bright side:
even if you don't, you can still pepper the world with stick-fighter cartoons.

You can't POSSIBLY be serious about no tweens...
you got like 5000000000 fucking tweens in there, all doing not much for you.
And why the useless guide path layer?
anyway, if you really aren't trolling, fofrget about the drawing/animating for a year or three,
and get to know the Flash interface.
Fucking tweens.

>> [_] Anonymous 05/18/14(Sun)14:29 No.2387964
>>2387961
nothing. It depends on what you want to do.
tweening is the lazy mans way of animating, which isn't a bad thing per se, but you will allways
be dependant on flash or similar programs (which is a bad thing) and it won't really teach you
anything about proportions or perspective.
Plus classic frame by frame animation usually looks much nicer imo.

Seriously though...
How do you get dressed in the morning?
No wait... that was mean.
But really, how do you concoct a flash with a "bone tool thingy" and not know what a fucking
tween is all about?
Really, you MUST be trolling. I know it's that... because NO BONES in there, so you didn't bone
tool thingy, and that thingy does NOT in fact create tweens.
*taps out*
btw, nothing "wrong" with tweens, they make flash happen.
oh, and this appears to be authored on CS3 with AS2.... NO bones support there.

If you want to do tween animations, do it. Nobody's keeping you from doing so. You will end up
being able to make stuff like this with tweens if you practice: http://www.youtube.co

You use Flash because it can do all that nice tweening shit... even though fbf looks nicer...
If that's what you're really into, you can go crazy with free stuff like Pencil or Synfig Studio.
Awesome stuff, interface designed and optimized for the frame-happy artist.
If they could morph shapes with tweens, they may blow Flash out of the water IMHO.
Downshot is they can't author interactive media.
Bones or not.

WHOAH NELLIE....
IFFFFF you used CS6 and ACTUALLY used bones, that's what would have come out of Sothink's asshole
when I rammed it down that decompiler's gut.
But no, it could only extract what was there... TWEENS.
This was authored using Actionscript 2.0, and Sothink figures that would be CS3
AND.... IK bones weren't introduced until CS4, and didn't work properly until CS5.
AS2 cannot support IK bones. AS3 does.
Why do I even care? feh. Thanks for entertaining me though

>> [_] Anonymous 05/18/14(Sun)15:03 No.2388011
>>2388004
Hard? nope. Pretty simple, really.
Trivia: IK Bones is a 3D model articulation concept - the only 2D authoring suites I know of
offhand that use them are Flash Professional and Smith Micro's Anime Studio.
Tweens just represent parametric morphs from keyframe to keyframe. (changes in a
position/scale/rotation value, etc.)
Bones are "tethered" to the shape they work on, and can segmentally distort it, more like Flash's
Shape Tween than the Classic Tween.
each has its own behavior and look at runtime.
They are all valid.

If you are so sure that he's trolling why do you even reply to him?
There are three possibilities here
1: He's not trolling and you are making a mistake (which makes you look like an ass)
2: He's trolling and made you reply several times plus he made you angry, which means that he was
successfull and you should learn how to deal with trolls
3: You are trolling, in which case I just got trolled by you. Well done.

post your .fla on a file host like Dropbox or whatever....
